The countdown is almost to the end! I will officially be on my way to New Orleans in just 4 days! As the time quickly approaches, I am trying to hurriedly pack everything that I can think of. I always seem to over pack when it comes to trips (but better enough than not enough right?). While packing, I have been making an extensive list of what I desire to bring along the trip. The excellent news is that the weather is supposed to be wonderful while in New Orleans! I have been able to pack multiple pair of capris and even some of my spring/summer dresses as well to enjoy while in New Orleans. Of course, snacks are a must as well! I made sure my bags are loaded with snacks of all kinds such as granola bars, fruit snacks, and all different crackers too. I've also loaded my bag with different books and electronics to not only help with my educational experience, but to also provide some entertainment along the ride as well. I've tried to keep my purchases before the trip to a minimum, as I am so excited to be able to purchase different things while I am in New Orleans.

I have also done some research about the trip. One of the biggest highlights that I am personally looking forward to the most is Cafe Du Monde. I learned recently that it was also named as one of the top places to visit in the United States! This cafe provides many different elements under its French theme such as wonderful desserts and a variety of different blends of coffee as well.

During the last little bit of my packing, I have made an effort to pack for the train. The train is supposed to be very cold, so I have made sure to pack both a pillow and a blanket to keep me warm! I also made sure to pack some paper and a pencil to take notes along the way as well for my blog updates. I'm so excited to begin my trip to New Orleans in only a few days!
